The Fall of Society: A Recap

My Hero Academia Season 6 started with the introduction of the Meta Liberation Army, a group of villains who aimed to destroy society and establish a new world order. The show's creators have given the audience hints of the villains' rise, with their organization being referenced in previous seasons. Still, in Season 6, they finally took the stage and initiated their attack. The season began with a chaotic and intense fight between the villains and the heroes, resulting in significant destruction and loss of life.

The New Villains: An Introduction

My Hero Academia Season 6 villian

The villains of the show's sixth season brought a new level of complexity to the storyline. The Meta Liberation Army's leader, Re-Destro, was a formidable opponent, and his followers were no slouches either. This also helped the villains from previous arcs grow and become truly formidable foes. The show's creators did an excellent job of creating complex characters with clear motivations and goals that added depth to the show.

The Villains' Plan and Their First Attack

The Meta Liberation Army

The Meta Liberation Army had the plan to create chaos and destroy the current system to build a new world order, as mentioned before. Their first attack was to target a group of heroes, kidnapping and killing them. This attack was intended to sow fear and disrupt the hero society, and it worked. They were able to catch the Hero’s raid off guard, and just as it seemed that the Hero’s had some semblance of hope with the arrival of the new number one hero, Endeavor disaster struck. Not only did the villains’ leader complete his transformation and become unkillable, but certain secrets about Endeavor and his family were revealed by none other than Endeavour’s presumed dead son, who turned out to be the villain Dabi.

The Rise of the Villains: Attacks and Ambushes

The villains didn't stop after their first attack. They launched a series of calculated and coordinated ambushes against the heroes, resulting in many losses on the heroes' side. The villains' plan was working, and their rise continued until they achieved their ultimate goal, destroying the hero society and creating a new world order. The complete destruction of the multiple cities and the crushing defeat of the heroes at the hands of Tomura Shigaraki achieved this. We also lost many fan-favorite characters, such as the hero teacher Midnight, which will no doubt sow the seeds of revenge in the hearts of our main cast of students.

The Fall of the Heroes: A Major Turning Point

The most significant turning point of the season was the heroes' defeat at the hands of the villains. Many heroes were captured or killed, leaving the rest of the heroes demoralized and hopeless. This event changed the course of the show's storyline and created an uncertain future for the characters. With the heroes defeated, society fell into chaos. The villains took over and established a new world order, creating a society where heroes were no longer necessary. This created a new dynamic for the characters, with some of them trying to adapt to the new society and others trying to resist it. But not everyone accepted this new order as society fought back for the first time in the many years of the show’s history. But hope is not all last as the new generation of heroes will fight back and secure their future; the only question is how?
