Kisuke Urahara is a former captain of the twelveth Division of the Gotei 13. He is also the first president of the Shinigami Research Institute. Urahara carries with him a cane by the name of Benihime or Crimson Princess. When Benihime is sealed, it takes the form of a shikomizue, a blade hidden inside Urahara's cane.
