Steel Rean Schwarzer, also known as the Ashen Chevalier, is the main protagonist of Trails of Cold Steel I, II, III, and IV and one of the three main protagonists of Trails into Reverie. He is introduced as a member of Thors Military Academy's Class VII, and later becomes the instructor of Thors Branch Campus's New Class VII.
